Gasoline and diesel generators АБ-4 и АД-4 - track power plants.

Track power plants - electric units with gasoline internal combustion engines (type AБ) and diesel engines (type AД) with a power of 4 kW are designed for main or backup power supply of mechanized track power tools.

Railway power stations are widely used by travel teams during construction and repair work, in railway transport, in railroad and locomotive depots, in emergency and public utilities.

With the help of electrical units, many types of mechanized track electrical equipment are driven: tamper; rail-boring, rail-cutting, rail-grinding and beveling machines; travel keys and screwdrivers; light masts; crutches.

The TEXKOM machine-building plant has developed and produces AБ-4 and AД-4 track power units adapted to railway regulatory requirements (220V, 3-phase alternating current 50Hz) with a rated power of 4 kW, based on imported gasoline and diesel engines. The units are equipped with standard sockets for connecting traveling power tools.

To distribute electricity from gasoline and diesel units to track equipment, cable fittings with protective shutdown of AK-ЗO are used.

TEXKOM track power plants are distinguished by a well-thought-out and reliable design, high quality of the generated current, efficiency, low noise, long service intervals, light weight and ease of transportation, long service life.

Generators are equipped with a transport wheeled trolley on which the frame of the station is installed for moving on railway rails (option).
